International Mavrud Day is an initiative by the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals whose main goal is to contribute to the popularisation of Bulgarian wines and wine tourism among domestic and international consumers.
Symbolically dedicated to the ancient local sort Mavrud, the initiative is a community event which presents the stylistic diversity, quality and modern appearance of all contemporary Bulgarian wines.
