“Adventure through the world of wine from local sorts” is more than a wine tasting in Bulgaria. It is an experience for the whole team during which we will talk about wine, we will taste 5 wines from the local varieties and we will daydream about travelling.

During the tasting session you will learn:

What are the steps during a wine tasting
Which are the characteristics of the wines being tasted and how to recognise them
How to recognise separate components of wine, forming its style and how to describe them
What are the key rules of pairing wine with food and how to apply them
How to express ourselves when describing a wine
What are the common misconceptions in regards to wine and how to serve it
History of winemaking in Bulgaria
Interesting information about small family run wineries which made these wines

We will welcome you in the small, stylish and cosy wine place in the centre of Plovdiv – Berenice Winery & Lounge, where we will “travel” sitting down with a glass of wine in hand, undisturbed by other visitors. It will be aromatic, delicious and intriguing.

The wine tasting is hosted by:
Krassimira Kodukova – oenologist and licensed tour guide
Gergana Todorova – wine specialist with WSET Diploma

The offer is for 10 people with a maximum participant number of 12 people and can also be hosted in English.
The stated price is for 10 people.
