Treat yourself or a loved one to a wine tasting and get to know traditional Bulgarian varieties, served with delicious delicacies and sweet stories in the centre of Sofia.
Vineria is a wine bar, shop and event venue in the ideal centre of Sofia which opened at the end of 2023. You will find over 100 labels of specially selected wines, most of which selected from boutique Bulgarian wineries, as well as high-quality Bulgarian and importated cured meats and cheeses.
A short story about the history and traditions of winemaking in Bulgaria and the main wine regions will introduce guests to the wines with a glass of wine in hand. The tasting of 5 wines from traditional Bulgarian varieties includes tasting quantities of each of the wines, a portion of Bulgarian cured meats and cheeses, bread, water and olive oil.
The duration of the tasting is 1 hour, and afterwards you can stay and order any of the wines by the glass or bottle, as well as purchase them to take home.
Wine tastings are held every day except Sunday at the indicated times - 2 pm, 3:30 pm and 5 pm.
